The beginning of Baalbeck! Baal=God & beck=valley, so Baalbeck is the arabic word for God of the valley. This is a city of Roman temples that were built around 2000BC, but have been destroyed by several earthquakes!

- Hello. I am a fresh college graduate from East Carolina University!!! Go PiRaTeS....arrgghh. I graduated in May 2008 with a Bachelor's in Family & Community Services. I am currently not using my degree. I live in Beirut, Lebanon (yes in the Middle East)! I am studying Arabic at the Lebanese American University (LAU). I will be living here from September 08 to July 09! After that, I am not sure where I will...but we will see.
