Not Again......but that's okay, guess what I found : )

Hey everyone! I hope you have enjoyed seeing some of the pictures I have taken. I will continue to post pictures, but our internet is soo slow that it takes FOREVER to post one picture. If you have any questions about them, just leave a comment.

TODAY....the streets were bare and the campuses were empty yet again! We realized that the universities did not have class again today because of celebrating the ending of Ramadan. So let's just say, to use our time wisely we had to be creative to meet students! One big accomplishment for today was that I walked down the street to the only "coined laundrymat" in Lebanon to wash & dry my clothes. This place was a lot cheaper than the first place and I was able to do it myself. The first place we did our laundry was at a dry cleaner that washed, dryed, removed stains, & ironed your clothes, but it was expensive. Not to mention they did not give Brandon & Marcus all their clothes back the first time they went to pick them up...ooops : / Thursday nights, we have time scheduled to 'spend alone.' Right before our time alone, I went to the guys room to cook some dinner and Marcus had a gift for me in there refrigerator!!! Guess what it was....a 6pack of MT DEW : ) I was very thrilled. For those of you who do not know, I LOVE mt. dew. I was very concerned that Beirut would not have them...haha. Until now, I have not been able to find them in the stores. I knew that they had mt dew somewhere, but I just haven't been able to find it. The very first thing I noticed when our plane landed in Beirut was this HUGE pepsi sign. I was jumping up & down on the inside, because I knew that meant there was hope. Haha : ) Also, one of our first days here, we were walking down the street & brandon noticed an empty mt dew can sitting on the ground. I was very happy to see that! haha. So the point is, I have found Mt. Dew in Beirut and that makes me very happy! Anyways, tonight was a very nice time alone to get some things done & just spend time with the Lord! This evening was very productive for me. I am very thankful that tomorrow is Friday, but when I think about having arabic class in the morning, my thoughts are summed up by saying "not again." I love learning arabic, but I feel like I am not learning it fast enough for our instructor. It will come though....that is why I am here studying for a year, right? Well, I am out for now....Im heading to bed while most of you are probably eating dinner...haha!

XOXO
